Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and help fund our mission.
Gentle Giants Elephants original primary mission was to help those starving and suffering during Covid_19. When we launched in June, 2020, we had many hopes and dreams, but not in a million years did we ever think we would be able to help so many gentle ones, as well as many human families. We have had over 165 elephants under our care over the last three years. Plus, we have helped farmers, construction workers, and countless human families through our projects.
We have rescued six gentle ones and aided in the rescue of 2 others; All reside at Elephant Nature Park and are forever free. We have provided much needed nutritional supplements for all and medical care for those in need. Our commitment to these elephants does not end with the rescue. Their long-term care and our responsibility to them is just beginning. We continue to send funds monthly for their food and care.
We have built 10 shelters! 5 at ENP, 3 at other projects, 1 at GG Providence and the very first chain-free shelter at Om Koi.
We have provided funds for medical care for any elephant in need. Whether it be one who has been rescued or lived at another project. We are quick to send a veterinarian whenever we suspect an elephant might not be thriving. We have always made the mental and physical health of the elephants, under our support, a priority.
We participated in our friend and partners, Lek Chailert, food bank by donating 1000s of tons of food to those who were starving. We have helped aid Elephant Nature Park during ruinous storms and flooding. We have sent aid for ENP's Cat Kingdom. Plus, we donated 200 baby bottles and about the same amount of baby nipples for puppy, kittens, and monkeys to ENP! Whenever our partner, Lek, calls out to us for help, we are there.
We started the rice-ball program in Surin to provide additional nutritious treats for the elephants, as well as support the local farmers and community. We continue sending funds monthly for it to continue.
We created our elephant enrichment program, which has truly paid off. The smiles on the gentle giants' faces is priceless. Witnessing them come out of their shells and release their inner child is nourishment to our souls. We will continue to provide enrichment, as needed, to any and all of the elephants under our support.
Witnessing Kaavan finally find forever freedom was very personal; having been part of his rescue from the very beginning. We were able to donate for his jungle home and his monthly care. He is our boy and in our hearts he will always be.
Gentle Giants Providence was created in Surin. Originally it was to be home to Maliwan and Maekoy. Thankfully they ended up staying forever at ENP. So we offered it to a beautiful young mother and her precious baby boy, who, for many months, found a safe haven. We send funds to maintain upkeep and have paid for another years lease, so it is ready and available to future elephants.
Not being able to ignore anyone's suffering, we jumped into action when Nepal Elephant Walk Sanctuary (NEWS) reached out to see if we could help the gentle ones who were starving. And we did. Immediately we sent funds for food to feed these gentle beings.
The Ele-Celebration Cake Program, that put's a smile on everyone's face, was created to help Elephant Nature Park, our partner Saengduean Lek Chailert, to feed her gentle ones; keep the ENP staff employed and help the local farmers stay in business. True works of art! The great staff at ENP pour their hearts into making each and every one! 100's have been ordered, delivered and enjoyed by many around the world. It brings us joy to see that the ele-celebration cakes have been 'adopted' by several others for their elephants to enjoy and GG continues to take orders daily for loved ones special celebrations.
Om Koi Evolution was born; a project dear to our hearts. One that had inspired much hope for a new way of life for 60+ elephants and their human families. We developed a "hands-off" volunteer program that would benefit both elephants and the people. We supported the community by hiring locals to build a kitchen, mud room, showers, bathroom and storage/prep room. For approximately 27 months, we sent monthly support for 18 elephants & 15 months for all elephants, a hefty commitment, but we did it without question.
Inspired by Mae Mai's courageous walk to safety, Bionic Giants was born. 6 beautiful souls at Elephant Nature Park received orthotics and prosthetics, engineered with the latest technology, by our wonderful friend Derrick Campana of Bionic Pets. The very first in history elephant knee brace, for Mae Mai, became a reality! GG traveled back to Thailand with Derrick and Nomadica Films to film the Wizard of Paws, Season 4's final episode. The extended episode can be viewed on BYUtv for free. Our greatest joy was witnessing Mae Mai playing in the mud for the first time in her life; with her gorgeous pink knee brace on.
We continue sending our monthly financial commitment, to a total of 36 gentle ones: GG's 6 rescued elephants, 10 elephants at ENP, 3 elephants at Elephant Highlands, 1 elephant at Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary and 16 x-begging elephants in Surin.
Along this journey, a beautiful, strong family has developed and grown. Without our amazing GG Family, none of this would of ever been accomplished. It all would of remained dreams. Our gratitude for each and every member of this mighty family is unwavering. This three year anniversary is too be celebrated by all of you, just as much as us. We look forward to all of you continuing on this journey with GG as we shift our mission, focus and goals. ~ Diana & Colby

Our friends and gentle ones at Elephant Nature Park are in urgent need. Flooding worst seen in 80 years. ENP has suffered a catastrophic impact, and the devastation is truly shocking .
